The Harvard Knights' outreach to Cambridge Rehabilitation & Nursing Center (formerly Vernon Hall Nursing Home) includes two main activities:
First, on Wednesday mornings, from 8-9am, the Knights assist with upkeep of the facilities, undertaking painting projects, maintenance, clean-up of the grounds, and even putting up Christmas decorations:
From 6-7pm on Thursday evenings of the semester, Knights visit with the residents of Vernon. The regularity of these visits allow us to form friendships with those residents.
